I am a motivated and experienced individual with an interest in cultural resource management best practices, historical archaeology, industrial archaeology, social and economic justice, and Pacific Northwestern archaeology. I am skilled at developing and implementing cultural resource assessments, background research, navigating government heritage databases (e.g. WISAARD), conducting fieldwork, supervising fieldworkers, and maintaining open and positive communication with clients and Tribal representatives. I exceed the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for a Professional Archaeologist.

Select Work Experience
Staff Project Archaeologist, Cultural Resource Consultants, 2021 – present
- Conducted background research, literature review, and authored context statements for assigned projects;
- Developed, implemented, and supervised field and laboratory methodologies;
- Summarized and interpreted results and provided recommendations in context of local, state, and federal cultural resource regulations;
- Identified and evaluated archaeological sites under NRHP and local criteria;
- Coordinated with Tribal representatives and clients on background research, fieldwork, and results;
- Primary author on more than 90 cultural resource assessments, APE letters, and monitoring reports.
Archaeological Technician, Multiple Companies, 2015-2020 (periodically during summers)
- On-call technician for various Phase I subsurface surveys, including shovel testing, as well as monitoring and excavation/data recovery;
- Assisted with data recovery on Lower Russell Levee Setback Project and with monitoring on precontact site 45KI55 at Hoffman Property;
- Conducted Phase II archaeological investigation of historic hospital and fort;
- Supervised and provided training on glassware analysis (form, function, and chronological indicators).
